I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), and licensed psychological associate with independent practice (LPA). I have been in private practice since 1997. I have more than 40 years experience working with issues related to children and families.
I have a B.A. in psychology from the University of Chicago and an M.A. in child development and family relationships from Cornell University. I am trained in clinical hypnosis. I have many years of experience helping people with anger control problems and chronic pain. I am a member of the Fort Worth Area Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
As a marriage and family therapist, I work with all family issues. I help parents deal with their children’s school problems, their children’s misbehavior associated with parental separation or divorce, and with problems involving sibling relationships and stepfamily issues. I also work with couples when there are stresses within a marriage or long-term relationship.
On a personal note, I’m originally from Chicago, so I’m not a native Texan, but as they say, “I got here as fast as I could.” I live in a rural area outside Weatherford with my wife (who is a native Texan), our three dogs and two cats.
